A beautiful spring maternity session

March 29th, 2011

The day of this session was the most beautiful spring weather we’ve had so far this year!  We could not have asked for a prettier day.  Couple that with a beautiful mom and her adorable son and I was one happy girl!  This mommy is due any day now and can you believe that this is her fifth baby???  She has 4 boys and I couldn’t be more excited for her that this one is a GIRL!!!!

I have so many favorites from this session that I had a really hard time narrowing down what to put on the website…sooooo I will be posting a lot of pictures.  I hope you don’t mind!  :)

Sweet baby Luke

Newborn sessions are some of my favorites.  They are probably the most work but also the most rewarding.  This session was held at the first of the year and I’m ashamed that I am just now posting these on my website!  (Luke’s mommy…I’m sorry!)  But looking back through these images again reminds me of why I love newborn sessions!  I love capturing these little details that so quickly pass by and are forgotten.  Things that new mommies (including myself when I was having my babies) wish we had documented because with lack of sleep and the busyness of a new little one they can be forgotten so easily.  I’m always so honored when I am able to do this for a family!
