Pleasant specializes in newborn, baby & toddler modern custom photography.  She  is currently accepting 2010 portrait commissions.

Session fees, starting at $250, are due at time of booking to reserve your session date.

Portrait collections start at $900.  For your convenience, collection payment plans are available.

Prints start at $40. Please email Pleasant for a detailed product price sheet.

Because we strictly limit the number of portrait sessions available each month, each session has a minimum purchase requirement of $400.

Newborns are best photographed within 8 days of birth, so we urge you to schedule baby’s first portrait session while pregnant. Pleasant is used to working around the unpredictable sleeping and feeding patterns of newborns and remains flexible and patient to capture images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Once you book your session I will be in contact with you either via phone or email (or both).  I will help you decide on a location if you are undecided.  Clothing should convey your child’s personality.  Don’t shy away from bright, beautiful colors.  You do not have to wear all black or white and khaki.   I love the style of Gap Kids, crewcuts and Chasing Fireflies just to name a few.

My photographic style is casual and laid back. I want your child(ren) to have fun. Run, jump, play, cry. Some of my cutest photos are tears rolling down chubby cheeks. I prefer parents to play a passive role during the session. Step back and let your child be themselves. I have no “rules”, nor do I have any expectations from the parents or the children. You will never hear me say “say cheese”. As a mom of 5, I understand kids at all ages and stages. I only ask that you not put expectations upon your children. Chances are if you are calm and laid back your children are more likely to be calm also (although I know this doesn’t always happen!)
